Ultimate Pilates Barre Workout
Private Sessions are a great place to start and the fastest way to progress in Pilates. Sessions are done one-on-one with a certified Pilates teacher on the full range of equipment which will include the Reformer, Cadillac, and Wunda chair.
Your instructor will adjust the intensity of the work to the level appropriate for you. Group Reformer Classes are a great way for students to learn how to use this highly effective piece of equipment. Each participant has some experience on a Reformer prior to joining a group class, so they are familiar with the machines and instructor cuing. Students work through a series of appropriately leveled Reformer choreography in unison, with the instructor monitoring for safe and proper form.
Level 1 Class: Designed for beginners or those who are returning to Pilates. This class will teach you proper alignment, form, posture and breathing techniques as well as knowledge of the Reformer and Pilates terminology. You will be amazed at what your body can do while learning the proper techniques! You will have more range of motion, you will strengthen your core, have better stability, increased flexibility, improved posture and you will tone your entire body! Our instructors will make sure that after taking a few of our Level One classes, you will be ready to take on the challenge of our Reformer and Jump classes!
Reformer Class: In these classes, you will go through more challenging sequences and variations of exercises that go at a much faster pace. You will be introduced to accessories like the Pilates short and long box, the jumpboard, the Pilates circle and the Pilates ball. Designed to achieve slimmer, longer, stronger muscles without building bulk, your endurance and energy level will improve and you will have a new, well-toned body.
Ultimate Barre classes integrate interval training with muscle-shaping isometrics to quickly and safely reshape the entire body. Our non-impact, 55 minute session utilizes both the ballet barre and the mat, and targets all major muscle groups resulting in recognizably sculpted arms, strong abs, a lifted seat, and elongated thighs. This workout is designed with the principles of Pilates to create a longer, leaner physique.
